| Constructed from the new premium 50/50 Nylon/Cotton (NyCo) Rip-Stop material which is now the U.S. military standard combat uniform fabric of choice. NyCo material holds it's color better, is more abrasion resistant, breathes better and keeps you cooler in hot weather. These are the next generation combat shirt design manufactured to new Mil-Spec standards for the Army Combat Uniform (ACU) with improved features over the older BDU style shirts including larger, redesigned slanted pockets with new PowerLock Velcro for extra security. Sleeves have new upper arm pockets with large loop side Velcro for unit patches and pen / pencil stalls on lower sleeve. New zigzag stitched Velcro mandarin collar can be worn down or up for extra wind and weather protection. Fully reinforced construction from top to bottom including double elbows with separate compartment for internal elbow pads and PowerLock Velcro closures on cuffs. Bellowed upper shoulder area and bi-swing back allows for expansion without having to wear a larger, bulkier shirt. Fully protected front double zipper allows you to leave openings in the shirt for ventilation and access without the hassle of buttons.
