New Tru-Spec Boonie hat. Military spec hat compliant with MIL-H-44105 and 20-6451, these part numbers are on the official tag sewn inside the hat and is complete with care instructions. Military item description is: Hat, Sun Hot Weather Type II. Hat is constructed of 50/50% nylon/cotton (NYCO) Ripstop material approved for field use by the DOD. New NyCo Material is lighter and breathes better than 100% cotton or Poly/Cotton blends. Includes chin cord with leather adjuster for keeping it on your head in tight situations! Hat is fully crushable for storage and has 2 brass mesh drains /vents on each side.
Initial loose fit recommended due to shrinking after it gets wet the first time. Please order next larger size than you would normally wear in a fitted baseball hat.
