Scott’s M98 gas mask is designed specifically to protect personnel against Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear hazards (CBRN) and riot control agents. The M98 gas mask has excellent permeation properties proven with live chemical agent testing to the protocol specified in NIOSH”s NATO NBC standard.
Designed for extended wear times, the M98 offers an optional drinking device port for quick rehydration during line rotation.

When combined with Enforcement
Cartridge, NIOSH approved for use against: Phosphine, CS, CN (Tear
Gas), Ammonia, Chlorine, Chlorine Dioxide, Formaldehyde, Hydrogen
Chloride, Hydrogen Fluoride, Methylamine, Sulfur Dioxide or FOR ESCAPE
ONLY FROM Hydrogen Sulfide; and for use against all particulate
aerosols.
