KNS Precision Push button Pivot Pin .250 Diameter fits the FRONT pin hole in most AR-15/M4 rifles (does NOT fit Colt large hole receivers). Works with lock down type swivels for easy mounting. This .250 diameter pivot pin has a spring loaded push button to lock in place without need for a separate detent and spring. When pushed, the stainless steel keeper pins retract for easy pin removal. The pin is designed to eliminate wear in and around the hole caused by pins with spring loaded balls. The steel has a black oxide finish. The button also has a drilled cross hole which allows for the installation of a seal wire to prevent tampering with the guns internals.
Put your sling swivel into the stud and you are ready to place your sling on the rifle. This eliminates any weight on the barrel of the weapon. When sling swivel is inserted in the stud, the stud is locked onto the pin. You must remove the sling swivel from the stud in order to remove the stud from the pin.
Use with Lock-Down type swivel, we recommend BlackHawk Lok-Down Swivels in either 1" or 1.25"
